NEWS AND EVENTS
MIDDLEPORT

On Saturday June 28, Middleport Church of the Nazarene under the leadership of astor Len Powell
held their first Great Food for All distribution. http://www.greatfoodforall.com.
This program is much like Angel Food and is Ohio based. They served
over 100 families and 6 local churches in their first month with
more than $5,000.00 in sales. Many un-churched families are participating
in this food program which enables Middleport to build a relationship
with these un-churched families, therefore allowing them to share
Jesus with them.
COLUMBUS FIRST CHURCH
On Sunday June 29th, Columbus First Church held a combined service with the Eritrean and New Nation groups that also meet in their facility , Pastor Josh Lively reports that there were over 200 in attendance! ( see photos below)

OAK HILL
Rev. Jack Johnson, pastor
of the Oak Hill church, writes to the district office of how God
has blessed the Oak Hill church through 3 generous donations over
the past year:
one person donated $30,000 to blacktop the church
driveway and parking lot

another person donated $6,000 which was invested
in the construction of a 26' x 48' shelter house
a third person donated $1,000 towards the purchase of a new
projector for the sanctuary. Rev. Johnson says he is grateful for the opportunity
to be a worker in God's harvest field!
